iiP is a solo project by musician, sound designer and multi-artist Setsuya Kurotaki.
His latest single is a work inspired by artist Ichi Tashiro's solo exhibition, "Serendipity".
A number of sounds were collected in Ichi’s studio.
It is a collage of sounds from his creative roots in Hong Kong, Paris, and New York.
The cover artwork is based on a new work that will be exhibited at Gallery COMMON.
It is a work born from the serendipitous encounter between an artist and a musician.

sound branding for commercial facilities, sound design for websites, as well as composing for film and various sound installations.
So far his work has taken him to all the key locations around the world - Paris, London, New York, Milano as well as Taiwan, Shanghai, Hong Kong and of course his hometown Tokyo.
Setsuya often features as a performing musician in studio recording and live stage situations and tours nationwide as a DJ / Music Selector.

Ichi Tashiro (b. 1984, Ehime, Japan) is a self-taught collage artist. Tashiro previously lived in New York and Hong Kong before returning to Tokyo where he is currently based.
His work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions across New York, Hong Kong, Paris, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Belgium, Denmark, Singapore, and Tokyo, as well as art fairs such as Art Basel Hong Kong, ASIA Now Paris, Art Taipei, and Art Stage Singapore.

Founded in 2010 by creative agency en one tokyo, inc. and currently under the direction of co-founder Satoru Arai,
Gallery COMMON emerged from the street culture of Harajuku as an intimate space for both Japanese and international artists and trendsetters to interact with the local scene.
Sensing the importance of establishing a physical art-centered space in the neighborhood, en one tokyo opened Gallery COMMON, one of the first galleries in central Harajuku, with the aim of fostering this energy.
Approaching art from the unique and non-traditional background of creative agency, the gallery aims to bridge the paradoxical yet symbiotic gap between fashion and art, street and commercial, subculture and mainstream.
Since then, the gallery has expanded its vision to work with both renowned and upcoming contemporary artists across diverse countries and disciplines while participating in art fairs and collaborative projects throughout Japan and overseas.
